HOOVER HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA

The 2010 Hoover Thespian Silent Auction will be held throughout the IHSSA showcase event at 7:30 on February 9. Beginning with an exciting presentation of Thespians and their skills on the Hoover stage, the auction is sure to provide the biggest bang for YOUR buck.

Thespians will offer skills such as babysitting, cleaning, cooking, etc and audience members will bid on each Thespian in the student center throughout the night. Bidding starts at just $25. The greater the bid, the more of a certain service the Thespian will provide. For example if a person offers babysitting and the winning bid is $100 then the Thespian and bidder may come to an agreement of babysitting for 20 nights. There will be an opportunity to discuss the agreement at the end of the night.

Note that all money is due the night of the auction.

All the proceeds from this fundraising event will benefit the Hoover Drama Department and future drama endeavors. There will also be a donation box for anyone unable to participate in the auction.

This is a fun event held the same night that 15 AMAZING Hoover Drama acts perform throughout Hoover. Please come out to support the department and watch these spectacular performances. If you are unable to attend this night though, please help by suggesting the event to ALL your friends!
